COMPOSITION
Each mL Contains :

Articaine Hydrochloride USP 40 mg
Epinephrine Bitartrate USP 0.018 mg
Equivalent to Epinephrine 0.01 mg

THERAPEUTIC ACTION
Local Anesthesia for Dental Procedures by Nerve block or infiltration techniques.

INDICATION
4% Arti-Dent, an amide local anesthetic containing a vasoconstrictor, is indicated for local, infiltrative, or conductive anesthesia in both simple and complex dental procedures.

CONTRAINDICATION
4% Arti-Dent is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to products containing sulfites. Products containing sulfites may cause allergic-type reactions including anaphylactic symptoms and life-threatening or less severe asthmatic episodes in certain susceptible people. Sulfite sensitivity is seen more frequently in asthmatic than in non-asthmatic people formulations.

DOSAGE
In Adults: 1.0 - 5.0 mL (0.5 to 2.5 Cartridges)
In Children: 1.0 - 2.0 mL (0.5 to 1 Cartridge)

PRESENTATIONS
50 dental Cartridges x 1 Box. (available in cardboard boxes containing 5 blisters of 10 x 1.7 mL cartridges)
